In this article, I share the "experiment" conducted in my institute with the help of one of my colleagues, the nutritionist Pierre Fabrien, in order to give the best advice to fight against cellulite.
We have looked for the best devices on the market to permanently eliminate cellulite from home.
What is the best device?
We have tested 24 anti-cellulite devices over the past 6 months, including models from Cellulblue, Rowenta, Silk'n and the Vibraskin. We ranked the top five options according to the following criteria :
Results:
We assessed how long it took us to reduce the appearance of cellulite, ideally trying to achieve visible results after a month of weekly use. Some of these devices proved to be extremely effective, giving us permanently firm and smooth skin.
Cost:
If you opt for in-house treatment, it will cost you up to AU$228 per session (between 6 and 8 sessions are required for a cellulite treatment). We have had excellent results with devices that cost less than AU$228, with the best results being achieved with a device costing as little as AU$171*.
Safe to use at home:
It is important to choose an ergonomic device that is easy to use at home. It should not have any side effects on the skin or unwanted effects such as redness and bruising. Some use technologies such as radiofrequency or ultrasound which can cause burns if used incorrectly.
Why is Vibraskin the best possible choice to fight cellulite, according to beauticians? AU$147
By far the best results have been achieved with the Vibraskin device. It is famous for its massage devices in the institute, and its home device is also perfect to get rid of cellulite.
The device, which has been a customer favourite since the brand's inception, has adjustable power levels. Using it 3 times a week allows to achieve visible results in just 1 month. Based on our experience and that of our customers, 4 weeks of regular use are efficient to make cellulite disappear.

The Rowenta - AU$305
Mainly for people who have very little cellulite and who do a lot of sport. Indeed the Rowenta can be difficult for people who have fat mass. It took about 3 months (5 to 6 times a week) for those of us who have used the Rowenta to have satisfactory results. Don't give up! Perseverance is the key to this device.
- As with Cellulblue, it takes about 12 to 14 weeks to see satisfactory results and reach almost invisible cellulite.
- Difficult for women who are a bit overweight.

Cellublue - Electric Anti-Cellulite Cupping - AU$363
With Cellublue which is meant to reproduce the plapate roll by sucking the skin, it takes about 10 to 14 weeks to eliminate cellulite, combined with a drastic diet.
Excellent for recent cellulite on the back of the thighs, but difficult for fatty areas such as under the arms or the stomach (very painful). Complete results after 14 weeks.
- Removes cellulite effectively, but in a very painful way.
- Not made for all skin types, leaves bruises if you have supple, "fragile" skin (2 weeks) and traces for people who are not used to palpate and roll.

SILKN Silhouette anti-cellulite slimming device- AU$570
Like the Vibraskin, it manages to eliminate cellulite after approximately a month using it. It is easy to use thanks to its size and simplicity. However, we have noticed that if you stop using it, the cellulite reappears, which is a real shame for the price.
- Convenient, easy to use on any area.
- Simple to use, it's a great choice to get rid of cellulite quickly.

- Similar to Vibraskin - Silk'n eliminates cellulite in just 1 month by using the product 5 minutes a day.
CNCEST Anti-cellulite massage device - AU$1592
This device is intended for professionals and institutes. We also put it in the top 5 because we also tried it during the test and we had very good results after only 2 months of use. It is suitable for all skin types.
